Today’s warm-up, a color study of a possible illustration idea for The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour. I read it this weekend on my road-trip/move, which was rather fitting.

Quick color study/ thumbnail of a book cover idea for Chime by Franny Billingsley. I read it recently, and quite liked it, but the cover is pretty lame, in my opinion. I probably wouldn’t have picked it up if I hadn’t heard about it first.
Anyways, the book has a bit of an eerie feel, so it seems fitting for the season.
Ahg. This is not what I’m supposed to be doing! Back to work!
