I recently illustrated a quote for Goodreads,as part of their monthly YA newsletter (sent out today- also contained an interview with the amazing Rainbow Rowell ). I was excited to work with them… because I love books, and Goodreads, and especially YA. And then they gave me the quote and said do something with books and food. Well. Heaven.
I may have to go back to some parts of the unused sketches, I enjoyed doing them so much.
New Goodreads illustration! I enjoyed working with the limited palette, and always love painting books. Thanks Jade Change for the direction!
There is supposedly a downloadable poster version they’ll be releasing as well, so keep and eye on their site, if you’re a teacher or librarian or someone who likes books.

Valentine’s Day. It is upon us.
New Illustration for Goodreads! They added a new feature for tracking when you reread a book. A feature I always wished for! Though currently by TBR list is so long it may be awhile before I can use it.

New piece for Goodreads YA! The quote is from I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. I was asked not to directly illustrate from the book, so I took the chance to try a sort of illustrated map. BUT. It is a super excellent book. Definitely recommend!
Some new illustrations up for Goodreads Summer Reading this week!
Quick Patreon update for the new month✨ I printed these sticker sheets for the launch bonus, and since they came in a stack- they’ll now be an ongoing part of the 5$ tier, along with the small holographic Oscar Wilde quote sticker. ALSO! I have… about 13? more of the holographic postcards so until I run out, new patrons on that tier will get one of those as well.
